On Tuesday January 27, 2009, homeless persons throughout Ventura County were counted.  (The first count was done in January, 2007.)  This count is important, so that we can measure our progress toward the goal of ending homelessness.

Teams of counters were deployed in every area of the county, and throughout the City of Ventura.

The count results will be compiled during the next 60 days, and in early-April final results will be available.
